CPC members have access to the industry’s best and broadest book offering, spanning more than 39 million print titles and over 2 million ebooks. Our print fulfilment is fully UK managed out of the former Coutts distribution centre at Ringwood which provides a number of customised services including shelf ready books. We also offer the most expansive range of acquisition models on our industry leading ebook platform – Ebook Central.

August 2022 Highlights:

  1. The New OASIS Search Experience launched 19th March. The new search experience in OASIS makes your acquisition experience faster and easier than ever before. We encourage all OASIS users to test out the new Advanced Search and Search Results pages in the play site and use the feedback tab within the interface to share your thoughts. For more information, watch the recording of the demo discussing the new enhancements.

  2. Highest use subjects for Ebook Central in UKI and Europe. Ebooks continue to play a greater role in classroom support and overall student success – both on and off campus. Overall usage is growing and the ways students are using ebooks is evolving.   3. New Sustainability Ebooks Collection and Offer. The new Sustainability Collection features 5,350 ebooks from a variety of publishers with availability in multiple licensing and buying models.   5. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) ebook subscription. We recently released the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Ebook Subscription and it's seen phenomenal demand. The subscription is designed to help libraries address the challenge of building collections across topics of gender, race, sexual orientation, physical ability, age, and political and religious beliefs. It includes thousands of titles from sought-after publishers all over the world. Ideal for remote and hybrid learning with unlimited, multi-user access.   6. What’s New in Academic Complete? In 2020, your Academic Complete subscription grew 6% with over 11,760 titles added across multiple disciplines. Even after the in-cycle title removals in June 2021, we have added over 21,200 titles into your Academic Complete subscription.   8. 'In the Shadows' - the latest in the blog series. The first university press, Cambridge, dates to the 16th century – 1534. One more century and Oxford came next, in 1668. Much later, a few others were born in the 19th century. Nearly all the rest came about in the 20th. So, for a university press to begin in the 21st century, there’s a lot of ground to make up.
